ECO-Choices - ECO-UNESCO's Drug Prevention Training for Trainers This one-day training explores an alternative approach to drug misuse prevention using environmental education as a resource for positive personal development of young people. By the end of the training participants should: • Be confident in developing an alternative approach to drug misuse prevention through environmental education • Be able & confident in facilitating life skill development in young people using interactive education methodologies & motivational activities • Be able to facilitate personal development in young people through their engagement with the environment (practical project work • Be confident & able to use the ECO-CHOICES resource pack (incl. in training fee) This training is particularly suited for those working with "at-risk" young people and SPHE teachers.
