Planning an ECO-UNESCO Young Environmentalist Awards project - information workshop This one-day training provides inspiration and tips on how to do an environmental action project with young people. Teachers and youth leaders will learn how to help guide young people from identifying projects to communicating the results. By the end of the training participants should: • Be confident in encouraging young people to participate in an environmental action project • Have learned a range of interactive environmental action project group facilitation techniques • Be able to foster personal development in young people through environmental action project work • Know how to develop & enter an Environmental Action project into the Young Environmentalist Awards • Understand the benefits of participating in the Young Environmentalist Awards Young people may attend the training along with their group leader.
