Celebrate UN World Environment Day!

5th June is UN World Environment Day! To celebrate, ECO-UNESCO wants you to take part in our online eco-action to share ideas on how to protect and conserve our environment.

Celebrate with ECO-UNESCO by taking our online eco-footprint quiz and adding a photo of your favourite eco-activity to our Flickr group. Be creative! The best photos will be entered in a drawing to win an ECO-UNESCO tshirt.

Step one

What kind of impacts do your decisions have on the world? We can measure our eco-footprints by looking at the ways we use Earth's resources and the ways we give back.

Find out more about how you can reduce your eco-footprint and help the environment by taking our quiz.

Take the quiz now!

Step two

Show us how you help the Earth. Take a photo of your favourite eco-action and add it to our Flickr group. Be creative! The best photos will be entered to win an ECO-UNESCO t-shirt!

Here's how to enter: Create a free account on Flickr. Upload your photo and include a description of your action. Then add your photo to ECO-UNESCO's World Environment Day 09 group.

Add my photo now!

Step three

Feeling inspired? Then visit www.ecounesco.ie to find out how you can get involved.

If you are between 12-18 there are lots of ways for you to get involved! You can
start an ECO-UNESCO Club or a Young Environmentalist Awards project.

If you are over 18, you can become a member, volunteer or join one of our training courses or workshops.
