This full day training will equip teachers and youth leaders with the skills to motivate young people to carry out environmental action projects using ECO-UNESCO’s 6 Steps to Success approach developed as part of the Young Environmentalist Awards programme.
Course 1: Trends and Developments This introduction to Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) covers activities developed by ECO-UNESCO to encourage young people to get involved in environmental issues.
Course 2: Programme Development and Curriculum Links This short course explores ways to plan, develop and integrate ESD methodologies within different curriculum frameworks and/or in alignment with specific learning outcomes.
