    When you register you are entitled to a YEA Manual to help carry out your project.

    In addition to the YEA Manual, after registering you can also download the YEA Poster to print and display in your school or youth group centre. This will help you promote your action project.

    Young Environmentalist Awards 2009 Projects

    For more information, ideas and inspiration, download a copy of our booklet summarising the 2009 shortlisted projects in more details.

    Teacher/Leader Training

    Once you have registered for the Young Environmentalist Awards, you will have access to training and assistance from ECO-UNESCO’s Environmental Youth Officers.

    Regional training dates will be announced throughout the registration process.

    Submit your completed project report (no more than 3000 words) and supplementary materials before Friday 26th February. Late entries might not be accepted.

    Please note: Please feel free to submit other work at this stage, for example, picture, scrap book, project diary etc but note that it cannot be returned.

    Judging

    Throughout February and March each year

    Projects are short-listed and selected projects visited in March of each year. This year we will also be carrying out Regional Showcase events allowing more of you to highlight your projects to the public.

    Showcasing and Awards Ceremony

    May each year

    Short-listed projects will showcase their projects and take part in an awards ceremony to celebrate their achievements at a fun day for all.
